Qatar- Civil Defence handing out meals, safety flyers

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The General Directorate of Civil Defence (GDCD), represented by the Operations Department, is distributing Iftar meals along with safety write-ups to motorists during the month of Ramadan in different parts of the country.
The initiative comes as part of the GDCD's efforts to reach out to the public to raise safety awareness, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has said in a post on social media.
'The aim of this step is to strengthen communication between the Civil Defence and various segments of the society, the MoI stressed.
Members of the Operations Department from Civil Defence centres have been deployed throughout the country, wearing fire suits, to distribute the Iftar meals along with safety flyers.
