(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman LNG will donate RO116,140 to finance the construction of an outdoor play area for children with special needs at the Sahwa Park.
An agreement to this effect was signed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed al Mahrouqi, director general of Planning and Studies at the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) and Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah al Musin, CEO of the Development Establishment at Oman LNG.
The project aims at providing recreational facilities for special needs children to enhance their feeling of citizenship and parity with other children.
The construction of the play corner is part of a 'Loyal to Society' programme, promoted by the ministry in cooperation with a number of private sector organisations. The signing ceremony was also attended by H E Dr Yahya bin Badr al Maawali, Undersecretary in MoSD.
