Bahrain condemns Nigeria terrorist bombing

Manama, Sha'ban 16, 1439, May 02, 2018, SPA -- Bahrain strongly condemned the two terrorist bombings that targeted a mosque and a market in the city of Mubi, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of people. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its deep condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes for the speedy recovery of all those injured by these acts of terrorism which contradict all religious, moral and humanitarian principles.
The Ministry emphasized the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Republic of Nigeria in its fight against terrorism, affirming its support for all efforts that aim at eliminating all terrorist organizations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Bahrain's firm position that rejects all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, and called for concerted regional and international efforts aimed at ending terrorism and its funding.
