(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Noted Pushto folk singer Nazia Iqbal on Wednesday registered a case against her brother for raping her two daughters.
The huge fan following singer registered an FIR against her brother Iftikhar Ahmed in Rawat Police Station Rawalpindi over raping her 12-year-old and 8-year-old daughters.
She told the police officials that she resides in Bahria Town in Rawalpindi with her two young daughters. Due to unannounced concerts and a hectic schedule of her husband, she had called her brother Iftikhar from Swat to accompany the daughters.
She further reported that on Wednesday morning, she heard her daughter crying, when she barged into her brother's room and discovered that he had raped the minor girl.
Nazia maintained that in panic, she yelled waking up her husband. However the accused Iftikhar had fled the scene.
On the other side, dawn newspapers had reported that the Rawat Police Station SHO said that according to the medical reports, the two girls were raped. However the accused has also been arrested and further investigation is underway. Police maintained that the medical reports have been sent to a medical laboratory in Lahore.
