Organised by Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation, this was the third edition of the event. Aday Alvarez won the men's open category with a total time of 58 minutes and 16 seconds. Isora Sosa Caballero was the women's open category winner. Among the Qataris, Q-Tri athletes swept the podium with Ali al- Hajri topping the category.
