Moroccan Raja Casablanca wins CAF Confederation Cup ticket


(MENAFN) Morocco's football team Raja Casablanca has been qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup after defeating Zambia's Zanaco 3-0.

The Moroccan club has already assured their victory by the first-leg in scoring 2-0, showing astounding performance in the match held in the capital of Zambia, Lusaka.

The team was also said to have demonstrated great skill only within the first 20 minutes of the game which took place in Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca with thousands cheering on the Moroccan champions.

The club, formed in 1978, is mostly known for holding the 2003 title along with winning the African Champions league a total of three times.
