Cambodia deports internet scam suspects to china
(MENAFN) Cambodia has deported about 100 Chinese citizens,who claimed responsibility for deceiving Chinese people in an internet scam.
Gen. Ouk Haiseila, a senior Interior Ministry official declared that the 89 suspects,with 15 women among them, were abroad two planes heading from the Cambodian capital.
He added that the group members contacted females online in china, and got them into sending inappropriate pictures in order to blackmail them and collect money.
Ouk Haiseila confirmed that the action took place shortly after their detention.
