Over 18 die in Thai tour bus crash


(MENAFN) Over 18 passengers have died as many others were wounded in the crash of a rented tour bus which reportedly drifted on downhill curve in Thailand's northeast and fell off the side of the road.

The Thai PBS television network declared that aside the deaths,another 33 people were injured in the crash in Nakhon Ratchasima region.

Passengers were heading to northeastern Kalasin province after a long journey to the seaside district of Chanthaburi that's close to Cambodia borders.

Researches from the World Health Organization reveal that Thailand is rated as the world's second highest level of traffic deaths after Libya.
