West Indies beat Scotland, qualify for 2019 ICC World Cup

West Indies qualified for the ICC 2019 World Cup after overcoming Scotland in a rain-affected match.
The five-run victory over Scotland helped the Windies to top the Super Sixes group and earn a berth in the Qualifiers final.
Scotland were given a target of 199 runs, but rain spoilt their chances as they fell short via the Duckworth Lewis-Stern method in Harare.
How did D/L method cost Scotland?
Falling short
Scotland needed 74 runs off 14.4 overs when rain stopped the match.
At that time, Kyle Coetzer's side were five runs short of the par score as per the D/L method.
Scotland were 125/5 in 35.2 overs in the chase and might have gone on to win the game.
The wrong LBW decision of Richie Berrington changed the par score for Scotland.
How did the game unfold?

West Indies made 198 runs in 48.4 overs with Evin Lewis (66) and Marlon Samuels (51) getting to half centuries.
Scottish bowlers Safyaan Sharif and Bradley Wheal picked 3-wickets apiece to hurt the Windies.
In reply, Scotland were 105/4 in the 32nd over when Ashley Nurse dismissed Richie Berrington LBW.
Replays showed he wasn't out and with no DRS, it cost Scotland the match.

West Indies top the group with eight points and have qualified. Zimbabwe (5) could join them but they need a victory against UAE on Thursday. Afghanistan (4) and Ireland (4) too are in the mix but for that they need a favour from UAE.
