Emiri Naval Forces hold joint exercise with Pakistan Navy
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Emiri Naval Forces have carried out a joint three-day maritime
exercise (Sea Lion 1) with the Pakistan Navy in the territorial waters
of Qatar, the Defence Communication Directorate at the Ministry of
Defence has announced. Artillery and rocket boats and high-speed pursuit
boats belonging to the Emiri Naval Forces and Pakistan Navy's warship
Himmat and Maritime Security ship Basol participated in the exercise.
The exercise aimed at enhancing defence co-operation between Qatar and
Pakistan. The exercise was carried out as part of the Doha International
Maritime Exhibition and Conference (Dimdex 2018).
