Plea for FIR against Salman, Katrina for alleged casteist slur

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have come under the scanner for an alleged casteist remark during the promotions of their film 'Tiger Zinda Hai.'
A petition for FIR has been filed against the actors in a Delhi court and the matter will be taken up for consideration on February 27.

Details
Harnam Singh, a former Chairman of Delhi Commission for Karamcharis accused Salman of "committing atrocity" on the members of a caste by making an inappropriate remark during his appearance on a Television show.
The petition against Katrina alleges that "rather than protesting at the offensive and insensitive statement, she joined the accused number 1 in insulting and abusing the victim through her conduct."

On a different note
Having raked in around Rs. 340 crore at the domestic box office, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' is now at the top in the list of Salman and Katrina's highest grossing movies.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film was a sequel to Kabir Khan's 2012 blockbuster 'Ek Tha Tiger.'
