Pakistan- Upper Chitral, Kulachi get district status
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has approved district status for Upper Chitral and Kulachi tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan.
The people of Upper Chitral and Kulachi have expressed jubilation over getting district status. KP Agriculture Minister Ikramullah Khan Gandapur arranged a meeting at his office on Monday which was attended by Kulachi Nazim Akbar Zaman and other people. Participants of the meeting thanked KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak for approving tehsil status for Kulachi. A cake was also cut to celebrate the occasion.
Ikramullah Gandapur said the people of Kulachi will easily get their facilities after the area gets the status of a separate district.
