Abbas meets deputy PM
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani in Doha yesterday. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to boost them, besides developments in Jerusalem and a number of issues of common concern. HE Sheikh Mohamed reiterated Qatar's firm stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the steadfastness of the brotherly Palestinian people based on the resolutions of international legitimacy and the two-state solution agreed upon by the international community to ensure the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
