Oman- Tenth karate championship from December 20


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Omani Karate Committee has completed preparations for the tenth karate championship which will be held in the main hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher in Muscat fromDecember 20-23.

Many Omani clubs and karate centres are expected to take part in the event. The championship will be held according to the rules and regulations of the World Karate Federation system.

A course for the coaches and referees will precede the championship in the lecture hall of the sports complex where the rules of international arbitration will be discussed.

Ahmed bin Said al Zakwani from the chief referees committee said that this competition will be held according to the annual plan of the Omani Karate Committee programme.

The competition will be held according to age groups and weight categories.

The Omani Karate Committee is headed by Brig Abdul Malik bin Ghassan al Mazrooi.
