Pakistan- Three minors injured in landmine blast in Waziristan


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) MIRAN SHAH: Three minors were injured on Sunday when a planted landmine they were playing with went off in Miran Shah, headquarters of North Waziristan Agency.

Officials at the political administration said that three children of a family including two brothers and their sister were playing near Amin checkpoint where a landmine planted by militants exploded.

As a result, three children were injured seriously who shifted to a hospital in Bannu where one of the children has reportedly lost his limbs to the blast.

Hundreds of people including women and children have lost their lives or parts of bodies due to scattered landmines planted across tribal areas during unrest.
