China: at least two killed after deadly factory explosion
(MENAFN) Local officials confirmed that due to the impact of the blast that was set off in the eastern Chinese port city of Ningbo, more than two people have died while many more injured.
The explosion has reportedly occurred at around 01:00 GMT at a factory in the Jiangbei District leading to the collapse of buildings in close proximity of the blast.
More than thirty injured have been evacuated to local hospitals as rescue operations were in place, as reported by state media. Local authorities also confirmed to Chinese media that a couple of the wounded are in critical condition.
