Azerbaijani Bank Standard's creditors to appeal to State Security Service (UPDATE)

The Creditors' Committee of Azerbaijani Bank Standard intends to appeal to the country's State Security Service in connection with the actions of the bank's management, Akram Hasanov, lawyer, chairman of the Creditors' Committee, said.

Hasanov made the remarks at a meeting of creditors with the management of the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) in Baku Nov. 21.

He added that earlier, the committee has already applied to the General Prosecutor's Office.

In turn, Deputy Chairman of ADIF Vugar Abdullayev noted that the fund submitted cases on more than 600 million manats to the law enforcement agencies regarding the closed banks in the country.

At the same time, cases on more than 450 million manats are under consideration in the courts, he added.
