By Diana Aliyeva – Trend:

An interactive service for legal entities on the submission of data on foreign trade contracts to the Unified Electronic Information System for External Trade Operations has been introduced to the new version of the Single Portal for Interactive State Services of Uzbekistan.

According to Uzbekistan's Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, this service will be provided starting from November 20.

The change was made in line with the decree of the Uzbek president on measures to further liberalize foreign trade activities and support business entities.

Submission of data on foreign trade contracts is carried out by business entities independently by uploading a file with data on the contract, formed using an electronic digital signature.

The process is regulated by a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, dated July 21, 2014, on additional measures to improve monitoring of foreign trade operations in Uzbekistan.
