Heads of Drug Control Agencies Conference to witness Oman participation

(MENAFN) The headquarters of the Arab Interior Ministers Council in Tunis is holding the 31st conference of Heads of Drug Control Agencies on October 26th-27th, and a delegation from Oman is said to participate in the Conference presided by Director General of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, Col. Abdul Rahim bin Qasim Al-Farsi.
The event reviews the experiences of Arab countries in combating this phenomenon and studying future Arab projects to address it.
The Conference will witness the participation of representatives of the various Ministries of the Interior in the Arab States, the Gulf Cooperation Council, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Criminal Police Organization, the Administrative Police and Naif University for Security Sciences.
The conference deals with the latest developments in the production, consumption patterns, ways of drug trafficking and its effects on the Arab region and ways of combating it.
