Daniel Morcombe's Killer assaulted in prison

(MENAFN) The prisoner in Queensland, Adam Paul Davidson, will be released on parole in late November after the assault of throwing boiling water on Daniel Morcombe's murderer. The 31yo convict was pleaded guilty on Monday in the Brisbane District Court for the act of torture against Brett Peter which took place in the Wolston Correctional Centre on the 5th of August, 2016. However, he will be released on parole due to already serving time in jail.

Davidson informed the court of his plot, he observed for a month Cowan's movements in order to come up with the perfect way to injure the sex offender. After careful planning, Cowan was playing card together with prisoners when Davidson smacked him with a bucket multiple times after pouring boiled water over his head which led to a superficial 15 percent burns.

Davidson admitted that he assaulted Cowan for "a little bit of retribution", he also wished him to "feel the pain like somebody like Daniel Morcombe has felt". However, Judge Dearden stated that all inmates must be treated with respect despite whatever horrifying crime they have committed.
