Australia: new airport security measures to be put into effect

(MENAFN) Due to the new security measures at the airport, employees are to be facing harsh new regulations.

It has been reported that workers must undertake random explosive tests at major Australian airports. What's more, over 14,000 of the staff will be affected by the new measures.

The new intensified security procedures were considered after the event at Sydney airport when explosives were attempted to be snuck this year. The nature of the new procedures is estimated to be announced on Sunday by the Turnbull government.

The significance of the new policies, the federal government suppose, is that prior to airport employees entering secure areas, they will be guaranteed as authorized as well as accurately qualified.
