(MENAFN) A new feature set to make it easier for users to order meals from nearby restaurants and service providers was announced by Facebook on Friday.
Without leaving the social media, US Facebook users are able to order delivery or takeout from restaurants such as Papa John's and Panera, using the new "order food" feature provided by Facebook through its app, as well as on-demand services like Delivery.com and DoorDash.
Facebook Vice President Alex Himel posted saying, "People already go to Facebook to figure out what to eat by reading about nearby restaurants, and seeing what their friends say about them. So, we're making it even easier".
