Oman issues OMR48m amid treasury bills


(MENAFN) Oman's central bank has funded OMR48m via an issue of treasury this week, the bills are with maturity period of 91 days and average accepted amount to 99.707 for every OMR100, however, the minimum accepted price at 99.705 per OMR100.

The treasury bills are secured financial instruments issued by the CBO on behalf of the Government, which helped authorized commercial banks profitable develop their funds with the profit of liquidity (repo)offered by the bank.

As well as, treasury bills promote the local money market by creating a benchmark introduces for short-term interest rates.
