Petroleum production in Oman grows by 12pct


(MENAFN) Production of petroleum products in Oman increased to 12 percent in the Jan-June period of this year, over the same period of 2016.

Through the products involved production of premium gasoline dropped by 14 percent to 7.684.000 barrels amid the period of this year.

On the other hand, production of regular gasoline hit 4.945.000 barrels, showing 51 percent increase, compared to the same period of last year.

Furthermore, the production of gas oil (diesel) grew 13 percent to 11.783.000 barrels, while it sales fell by 7 percent to 8.139.000 barrels amid the cited period.
