Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair 2017 begins in city

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : The largest International travel event of Bangladesh titled 'Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair 2017' was inaugurated at Bangabandhu International Convention Centre (BICC), on April 20 morning.

The seventh version of the BTTF is being organised by Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB). The national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines is the Title Sponsor.

Rashed Khan Menon, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, formally inaugurated Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair 2017.

Gautam Dev, West Bengal Minister for Tourism and AK Bhattacharya, Secretary of the ministry were the Guests of Honour.

SM Golam Faruque, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Aparup Chowdhury, Ph D, Chairman, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC), Dr Md Nasir Uddin, Chief Executive Officer, Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB), AM Mosaddique Ahmed, MD and CEO, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Head Bangladesh, Mastercard, Taufiquddin Ahmed, President, Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) were also present on the occasion.

National tourism organisations, airlines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, financial institutions and others involved in the travel and tourism sector are showcasing their products and services at 140 stalls, 10 pavilions and 18 mini-pavilions.
