(MENAFN) Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto stated that he wants to start a modern positive relationship with the US.
Moreover, the president has launched these goals during a conference of the Tuxtla Political Dialogue and Consensus Mechanism which collected leaders from 10 countries of Mesoamerica.
Nieto also added the revision of relations with America is considered "a stage Mexico is going through."
Meanwhile, Donald Trump, US president, has pledged to reopen discussions on the North American Free Trade Agreement between his country, Mexico and Canada since taking office last January.
