KUWAIT CITY, Feb 8: A Kuwaiti woman accused her driver, an Asian, of stealing some cash, gold rings and other pieces of jewelry from the safety deposit box in her house in Salmiya, says Al-Seyassah. The woman told police the suspect disappeared after stealing the abovementioned valuable items. She provided the officers with a detailed description of the suspect and investigations are ongoing to arrest him.
Meanwhile, an Asian man reported at Maidan Hawally Police Station that an unknown person broke into his flat, carting away several pieces of jewelry. Investigations are underway to arrest the thief. Also, a Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint at Jabriya Police Station against an unknown person who allegedly stole her mobile phone while she was in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. In another incident, a Kuwaiti man told police that his mobile phone was stolen while he was inside a coffee shop in Shuhada Cooperative Society.
