Kuwait- Lazam wins 19th Camel Racing competition


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Owner of the winning camel receives the trophy from the organisers

The camel Lezam belonging to Hadi Al-Hajri won the trophy of the 19th Camel Racing Competition organized by the Kuwait Club for Camel Races. Strong competition was witnessed during the race, which was of length four kilometers.

In the first round, the camel Shaqra belonging to Muhammad Al-Merri came first. The camel Al-Onoud belonging to Muhammad Al-Ajmi came first in the third round and the camel Shaheen belonging to Hamad Masoud came first in the fourth round.

The camel Al-Jazaba belonging to Abdullah Al-Merri won the fifth round while the camel Jaber belonging to Nasser Mubarak won the sixth round. The camel Qaza belonging to Zarar Al-Hajri won the seventh round and the camel Dari belonging to Hamad Al-Merri won the eighth round.

The ninth round was won by the camel Mataba belonging to Mansour Khamees while the camel Al-Hazar won the tenth round.

Assistant Secretary General of Kuwait Club for Camel Races Muhammad Al-Hajri presented the awards to the winners.
