Iran, Oman launch shipping line


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TEHRAN, Sept 25 (KUNA) -- Iran and Oman have launched their first-ever shipping line Bandar Abbas and Port Khasab of Oman.

Omani Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Masoud Al-Sunaidy said in a press statement on Sunday short distance between both Oman and Iran is a suitable chance for promoting bilateral relations, mainly in the economic field.

Al-Sunaidy said that launching the commercial and passenger shipping line between the two ports is an important step to develop tourism industry.

He added that the two countries have good friendly relations and determined to boost political, economic and trade relations. (end) fz.mt
