Egypt's foreign exchange reaches USD 450mn gain


(MENAFN) Egypt exposed that the country's international reserves increased by almost USD 450mn in April 2016.

Accordingly, the reserves grew to USD 17.011bn last month, compared to almost USD 16.561bn in March.

Additionally, the increase came as a result of the growth in foreign currencies balances by USD 406mn, posting USD 13.237bn.

On the other hand, a USD 33mn increase was registered in the value of gold listed in the foreign exchange reserves in April to reach USD 2.56bn.
