Kuwait- KNPC upgrades operations at Al Ahmadi refinery

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT Nov 26 (KUNA) -- Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation (KNPC) announced on Thursday upgrading its Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit at Al-Ahmadi Refinery so as to soon produce over 42000 barrels of oil daily.This unit will also produce high quality oil by-products commensurate with international standards on pollution-reduction and environmental safety said deputy executive officer at the refinery Mutlaq Al-Azmi.The upgrading process falls within KNPC's overall plan to implement steps leading to the use of clean energy at the refinery he said.
