UAE- MOFA discusses cooperation with Montenegro in Consular matters

ABU DHABI 28th October 2015 (WAM) -- Ahmed Saeed Al Dhaihiri Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs and a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Montenegro headed by Predrag Stamatovic Secretary-General of the Ministry have discussed foundations to promote cooperation and exchange of experiences in the consular field between the two countries.

Al Dhaihiri reviewed the best practices applied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide services to customers of citizens and other nationalities within and outside the country according to accepted standards of quality and excellence.

He explained the e-ratification mechanism followed in all ratifications centres within the country and in all representative missions abroad saying that the application rate in missions around the world has so far reached 81 percent.

The delegation was briefed on the work of ratifications centres within the country during a visit to the MoFA Ratification Centre in Abu Dhabi's Marina Mall.

The delegation was also briefed on the services provided exclusively to citizens of the state such as the Ministry's Tawajedi services 'My Whereabouts'.

The Montenegro delegation hailed the achievements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in particular and the UAE in general that have enabled it to occupy a leading position among countries of the region and the world stressing their country's desire to strengthen relations and cooperation with the UAE at all levels.
