Indonesian President and Saudi Foreign Minister discuss latest developments in Islamic world

JEDDAH 13th September 2015 (WAM) -- The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko "Jokowi" Widodo received the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir yesterday at his guest residence in Jeddah where he arrived on Friday for an official visit according to the Saudi Press Agency SPA.

During the meeting they discussed relations of mutual interest to the two nations.

Following the meeting Al-Jubeir released a statement saying "We have discussed the situation in the Islamic world challenges facing it how to deal with them and cooperate to confront them what the region currently faces and the importance of cooperation and consultation between the two countries to best serve the security and stability of the Islamic world and the world in general."
