Daesh claims responsibility for bombings at Yemeni mosque
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) At least 30 people were killed and 75 others injured in two suicide bombings claimed by Daesh terrorist gang at a mosque in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
According to Al Arabiya News Channel, a suicide bomber late Wednesday blew himself inside a mosque in Sanaa during the evening call to prayers, while the car bomb exploded outside an entrance.
Medical officials said the death toll may rise with more people in operating rooms in several hospitals, Al Arabiya added.
In a message circulated on social media, Yemen's local Daesh affiliate said it was behind the bombings, identifying the suicide attacker as Quay al-Sanaani.
