Dubai's Jumeirah Group logs 5.2 percent revenue growth in 2014


(MENAFN) Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based hotel developer, recorded a revenue growth of 5.2 percent for 2014, marking a decline from the 8 percent reported a year ago, Arabian Business reported.

Through the Group's assorted hotels and residences, among which are Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah complex, the firm registered an occupancy rate of 80.1 percent and USD293 average revenue per available room (RevPAR).

Nonetheless, the Group showed some signs of improvements since the beginning of the year, reporting an occupancy rate of 84.6 percent in addition to a RevPAR of USD549.54.

"We're delighted to see we had a great first quarter. We'll remain very, very strong," the general manager of Madinat Jumeirah said in a statement.
