War Update: 180 Clashes On Front Line, Ukrainian Forces Neutralize Over 40 Occupiers In Pokrovsk Sector

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 22:00.

"In total, 180 combat engagements took place since the beginning of the day. The enemy carried out 69 air strikes, dropping 199 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the occupiers used 6,209 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,170 strikes on our positions and populated areas," the statement said.

Four combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, with one battle still ongoing. The enemy carried out one air strike using four guided aerial bombs and conducted 42 shellings, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the enemy carried out seven assaults near Prylipka, Zakhidne, Starytsia, and Okhrimivka, with one engagement still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, in the areas of Shyikivka and Petropavlivka, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled nine attempts to advance near Borova, Chervonyi Stav, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Ozerne, Lyman, and Dibrava, with two more engagements still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, Defense Forces successfully stopped 11 enemy attempts to advance near Zakitne, Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy made one attempt to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Nykiforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, thirteen attacks were repelled near Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Mykolaipillia, with one engagement ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 27 attacks, attempting to advance in multiple settlements including Shakhove, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Vilne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopavlivka, Novyi Donbas, Nikanorivka, Novooleksandrivka, Zvirove, Pokrovsk, Molodetske, and Novoserhiivka.

According to preliminary data, 26 occupiers were eliminated and 16 wounded in this sector today. Ukrainian forces also destroyed six vehicles, three pieces of special equipment, two multiple launch rocket systems, and one UAV control post. Three artillery systems, one MLRS, and one UAV control post were damaged. A total of 245 enemy drones of various types were destroyed or jammed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped one enemy assault near Oleksandrohrad.

In the Huliaipole direction, sixteen attacks took place near Rybne, Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvianka, Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Hirske, Olenokostiantynivka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charyvne, with two engagements ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy made three assaults near Stepove, Stepnohirsk, and Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.

No significant changes were recorded on other fronts, the General Staff summarized.

As Ukrinform reported, total Russian military losses since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, up to June 9, 2026, amount to about 1,376,320 personnel.
