- Senior Data Analyst at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Simon Fraser University
I am a social epidemiologist and public health researcher specializing in data science and causal inference methods to study health equity and population health outcomes. I currently work as a Senior Data Analyst at Simon Fraser University, where I lead data management and statistical analysis initiatives across interdisciplinary public health research projects.
My work has focused on health equity, marginalized populations, and public health outcomes through collaborations with the Reaffirm Collaborative (LGBTQ+ mental health), the CHART Lab (youth development), and the HEAL Lab (social connection and psychedelics), where I currently work. I contribute to research design, proposal development, project management, student mentorship, and advanced quantitative analyses that support peer-reviewed publications and policy-relevant research.
I hold a Master of Science in Population and Public Health and a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from University of British Columbia, as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial. My academic and professional training includes biostatistics, epidemiology, data visualization, and research methodologies, with additional specialized training from Johns Hopkins University, Stanford University, and Vanderbilt University.
