6 Top Tips To Manage Heat Stress At Work: Moph
Doha, Qatar: The soaring temperatures in Qatar have prompted the Ministry of Public Health to issue a few tips to protect community members from heat stress while outdoors.
Its tips include:
1. Drink cool water every 15-20 minutes
2. Avoid tea, coffee, energy drinks and soft drinks
3. Take breaks in a shady or cool place
4. Eat healthy, eat light
5. Wear light and loose clothing.
6. Keep your head covered when outdoors.
The Health Ministry published these tips in various languages, including English, Arabic, Urdu, and other Asian languages to ensure maximum reach among the expat labour community.
