Law Enforcement Officers Notify Of Suspicion Two Officials In Kharkiv Region Over Receiving Bribe For 'Rear-Area Position'
"The perpetrators were identified as two officials of the Chuhuiv District Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, who are suspected of receiving an unlawful benefit for influencing a decision regarding military service. The suspects have already been served suspicion notices," the post said.
The suspects are one of the deputy heads of the district recruitment office and the commander of the security unit of the same subdivision. According to investigators, they received UAH 250,000 from a 38-year-old man. The servicemen were detained while the money was being handed over.

The suspects face up to eight years in prison.
As reported, as of the end of May, since the beginning of the year police had opened 44 proceedings over violations committed by employees of the territorial recruitment and social support centers.
