Jessica Wythe

Jessica Wythe is a lecturer in Education Studies and Early Childhood Studies at Birmingham City University Her work focuses on inclusive education, with particular interests in special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), early childhood practice, and cultural and heritage learning. Jessica's research explores the experiences of children with SEND, including the role of school trips and emerging technologies such as gamification in supporting inclusive practice. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and is currently undertaking doctoral research examining the impact of heritage site visits on primary-aged children with SEND.
