Single-Day Supreme Judiciary Council Auction Raises Over QR26 Million

Doha, Qatar: The Supreme Judiciary Council said it generated over QR26 million from more than 2,200 bids in a single-day auction on May 24.

In a post on X, the council said the Department of Judicial Evacuations and Auctions conducted a number of auctions on May 24, 2026, yielding a total of QR26,083,814, across 1,162 cases, with a total of 2,265 bids.

Real estate accounted for the vast majority of total proceeds, as three real estate properties were auctioned for QR23,664,264, representing roughly 91% of the total auction amount.

Other sold items included a motorcycle for QR500 and 33 pieces of equipment for QR1,724,750.

Meanwhile, of the 82 vehicles put up for auction, 69 were sold for QR694,300.
