Pre-Register For Abu Samra Border Crossing On Metrash, MOI Reminds

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) issued a reminder of a feature in Metrash mobile application allowing travelers from Qatar to pre-register at the Abu Samra border crossing.

In a social media post, the Ministry stated that“the pre-registration service for the Abu Samra border crossing, available on the Metrash app, allows Qatari vehicle owners - citizens and residents - to complete travel procedures through the crossing with ease and convenience.”

The steps to pre-register using the Metrash mobile application are as follows:

Log in to the Metrash Mobile Application, and open 'Travel' window and then select“Pre-Registration for Abu Samra”.

Choose the registration type between Entry or Exit, then specify the expected travel/ arrival date.

Select the type of vehicle you would be using.

Add drivers and passengers either as a citizen/resident or as a visitor.

Verify the information and submit

A confirmation message will then be sent once registration is complete.

The Ministry noted that a feature allowing Qatari vehicle owners to add drivers and passengers from GCC countries using ID or passports numbers and visitors using passport numbers even if the vehicle owner is not traveling has been added to the Metrash app.
