After receiving my PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Melbourne in 2019, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, McGill University, funded by the Moore–Simons Project on the Origin of the Eukaryotic Cell. Following this, I returned to Australia for subsequent research appointments at the University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney.
