War Update: 177 Clashes On Front Lines, Heaviest Fighting On Pokrovsk Front

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a situation update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 177 combat engagements in total. The enemy carried out one missile strike, using one missile, conducted 72 airstrikes, and dropped 230 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 5,558 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 2,297 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions," the military said.

According to the General Staff, on the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, three clashes were recorded. The enemy carried out two airstrikes, dropped seven guided aerial bombs, and conducted 66 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions, four of them using multiple launch rocket systems.

On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions once in the area of Starytsia.

On the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian defenders are repelling two enemy attacks toward Kupiansk and Novoosynove.

On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Drobysheve, Dibrova, Ozerne, Lyman, and Yampil. Two clashes are ongoing.

On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled five enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Zakitne and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

On the Kramatorsk and Dnipro River axes, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions today.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy carried out 18 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Toretske, and Kucheriv Yar. One clash is still ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk axis, the enemy carried out 25 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of Rodynske, Hryshyne, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Zatyshok, Nykanorivka, Shevchenko, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Molodetske. Two clashes are ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 32 occupiers were eliminated and 13 wounded on this axis today. One artillery system, two vehicles, and three special vehicles were destroyed. Two vehicles, six guns, and 72 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. Seven drones were destroyed and 228 UAVs of various types were jammed.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, the occupiers made four attempts to improve their positions, attacking in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Ivanivka, and Kalynivske.

On the Huliaipole axis, there were 23 enemy attacks toward Novе Zaporizhzhia, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Olenokostiantynivka, and Charivne. Four clashes are still ongoing.

On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy carried out two offensive actions in the areas of Shcherbaky and Stepnohirsk.

On other fronts, there were no significant changes in the situation.
