MWW Hires Weber Shandwick's Dave Aglar To Lead Media & Innovation
Aglar joins MWW after nearly two decades at Weber Shandwick, where he worked across media, social, influencer and analytics functions. In the newly created role, he will report to founder and CEO Michael Kempner and oversee the agency's integrated media, research, analytics and creative teams, along with its AI efforts.
The hire follows MWW's recent appointment of former FleishmanHillard executive Mike Sacks to bolster its corporate reputation and advisory work, as well as the acquisitions of employee communications consultancy HudsonLake and consumer agency Berk Communications.
MWW said Aglar will help connect the agency's media, research and creative work more closely across client accounts as brands face increasingly fragmented audiences and changing media consumption habits.
“Dave's appointment reflects how we're continuing to evolve MWW for the future, bringing together media, communications, technology, and intelligence in a more connected way,” Kempner said in a statement.
Aglar said he was attracted by the opportunity to help shape the agency's next phase of growth.
According to MWW, Aglar has worked with clients including General Motors, Kenvue, Mars, IBM, Unilever, Nestlé, Verizon, Novartis, PepsiCo and YouTube across consumer, healthcare, technology and corporate sectors.
