Child Injured In Explosion Of Unknown Object In Sumy Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the Sumy region, a 12-year-old boy brought home an unknown object that exploded, resulting in the child being hospitalized with injuries.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the website of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Sumy region

“In one of the settlements in the Romny district, a 12-year-old boy found an unknown object, which he brought home. Subsequently, the dangerous object exploded while the child was nearby,” the report states.

It is noted that the boy sustained injuries as a result of the explosion. The child was hospitalized.

Police officers worked at the scene to determine the circumstances of the incident.

As reported by Ukrinform, in Sumy, an explosive device, presumably a grenade, detonated in a man's hands, and he died at the scene from his injuries.
