The inauguration programme was attended by former Member of Parliament Rajendra Agrawal. This initiative to connect youth with emerging technologies and innovation is seen as an important step toward building a brighter future.

The programme began with a welcome address, followed by the distribution of certificates to students who had completed AI training. A Training of Trainers (ToT) programme for teachers was also launched. Under this initiative, teachers will first be trained in the use of AI tools and will later train students.

On the occasion, Dinesh Singhal, Chairman of the Kanohar Lal Trust Society, and Anil Bhardwaj, Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME), along with several other dignitaries, were also present.

AI-based skill education initiative launched

Focus on practical AI skills

During the event, Anil Bhardwaj highlighted the concept and objectives of the AI Wing.

In his address, he clarified that the initiative is not aimed at 'building AI' but at teaching young people how to effectively use AI tools to improve their studies, employment prospects, and career growth.

He said,“The AI Wing is just the beginning. Our objective is to provide students with practical AI skills so that they can achieve better learning outcomes, improved employability, and access to new job opportunities. This facility will not be limited to students of Kanohar Lal colleges, students from outside institutions will also be able to benefit from it.”

Industry-ready skills for students

Dinesh Singhal said that the trust has always aimed to provide youth with relevant education and skills aligned with changing times.

He said,“We want our students to go beyond earning degrees and acquire industry-ready skills. The AI Wing is an important initiative in that direction.”

The event concluded with the formal announcement of the AI Wing's launch and a vote of thanks to all guests and participants.
