Drone Blast in Southern Lebanon Injures Three Israeli Soldiers

(MENAFN) Three Israeli soldiers are slightly injured after an explosive drone incident in southern Lebanon, according to Israeli media reports on Monday.

Israeli Channel 12 reports that the soldiers are taken to hospital for treatment following the attack, which is described as causing only minor injuries.

According to reports, the incident occurs amid continued cross-border fighting, as the Israeli military maintains daily operations in Lebanon alongside ongoing exchanges of fire with Hezbollah, despite a ceasefire announced on April 17 and later extended to May 17.

At the same time, Lebanese media reports say at least four people are killed and eight others are injured in separate Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon on Monday.

Since March 2, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have killed 2,846 people, injured 8,693, and displaced more than 1.6 million residents—around one-fifth of the population—according to official figures cited in reports.
