New Balance Brings Grey Days to Life with Community-Led Grey Runs Across the Region

(MENAFN- currentglobal) Dubai, UAE, May 11, 2026 –This May, as part of its annual Grey Days celebration, New Balance is bringing communities together across the Middle East with a series of Grey Runs, inviting people to show up, run their way, and stay a little longer.
Taking place across the UAE, KSA, Qatar and Kuwait, the Grey Runs are designed as open to all, community-first moments where running becomes less about performance and more about participation. With no registration required and no pressure attached, each Grey Run brings people together at a shared start line, building a sense of belonging that extends beyond the run itself. The experience continues with a relaxed post-run hang featuring coffee, breakfast bites, and space to connect with the community.
In the UAE, Qatar and KSA, the heart of the experience is the New Balance Run Club (NBRC), whose network of coaches across the region has doubled, reflecting the rapid growth of a more inclusive, supportive running culture. Expert-led yet intentionally approachable, NBRC sessions are built to make movement feel accessible to everyone, whether one is a seasoned runner or lacing up for the first time.

In Kuwait, New Balance partners with Morning Milers, an informal running community to host an all-inclusive Grey Run, bringing fresh energy to a running scene that continues to grow and evolve locally. The collaboration reflects New Balance’s commitment to supporting grassroots running culture in the region, while creating a welcoming space for more people to engage with movement.

Rooted in New Balance’s “Run Your Way” ethos, the Grey Runs blur the lines between sport and lifestyle, creating a space where showing up matters more than pace, and where the finish line naturally flows into a social, community moment.
As part of Grey Days, a month-long celebration of New Balance’s iconic color, these runs also pay tribute to the brand’s heritage. First introduced in the 1980s for urban running, grey was designed to move seamlessly through the city. Today, it stands as a symbol of timelessness and authenticity, which are values that continue to shape how New Balance shows up for communities around the world.
