IAEA To Inspect Lab Near Zaporizhzhia NPP After Reported Attack
The laboratory is located outside the plant, and no information about casualties has been reported.
“IAEA has been informed by the ZNPP that a drone targeted its External Radiation Control Laboratory (ECRL) today,” the statement said.
It is noted that the IAEA team present at the plant has requested permission to access and inspect the ECRL facility.
The report also emphasizes that IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stressed that“any attacks near nuclear sites can pose nuclear safety risks.”
